What started as an informal talk with Luciano Arancibia, faculty of arts teacher at the Universidad Autonoma de Baja California (UABC), one of Baja California’s most important University, on the day of the Terra Peninsular Community Center and Gallery opening, will materialize very soon. Terra Peninsular and the Faculty of Arts of the UABC Ensenada campus, partner to bring you the exhibition “Line of Horizon: Virtual Drawing UABC Exhibition”, as the name translates into English, that will be inaugurated on Thursday March 8th at 7pm at the Terra Peninsular Community Center and Gallery in downtown Ensenada.

“Line of the Horizon: Virtual Drawing UABC Exhibition” is a digital drawing exhibition of the wildlife of Parque Nacional Constitucion de 1857 (Park) in Sierra de Juarez; in which the best artists from the Ensenada campus of the UABC spent 9 days camping in the Parque Nacional Constitucion de 1857, completely isolated from civilization, to capture the natural beauty of Baja California. With no paper, pencils, paintbrush or paint, using a portable tablet computer as the only instrument, these innovative artists used the most advanced technology created in urbanity to represent the structures, systems and living beings created through the course of centuries by mother nature.

The exhibition will be open to the public from Friday March 9th to Friday April 6th. Due to space limitation, we invite you to email us at info@terrapeninsular.org and RSVP for the exhibit opening, or you can visit us after march 9th at Terra Peninsular to enjoy and learn more about this new art technique.
